Love the artstyle, the writing and the music of this game. The mechanic with the candles is neat for sure. I personally had a bit of trouble as I was so focused on the candles I did not realise the thing in the room was a fireplace I had to lit before I got a bit frustrated. After that it was smooth sailing and a really nice experience overall :D

thank you so much! and we will take the feedback into account for sure!

Truly gorgeous stylistically, both the pixel artwork and the writing were an absolute joy. The background music after entering the basement absolutely slaps. Loved the curious little world you built, thank you for sharing!

Love the concept, simple but elegant. I got stuck playing this for about half an hour, exploring all the nooks and shadows.

That makes me happy! Thankyou

Such an elegant simple design. It's quite fun, and death never feels like a problem because you always learn something new. I like that you kept it so simple, and weaved an interesting level design into it. For accessibility, it would be nice if you moved the Enter key and register it to a few more keys like ctrl or space bar Very cool!

Good idea! Once the judging period ends I'll be sure to add a few accessibility features :)

Hi, you need to change your font color, it's not readable (unless that's part of the gameplay!)

Sorry! I orignally made it with my dark reader extension without realising. Fixed it now :')
